We wish you all the best in your future endeavors! To make the move-out process as easy and smooth as possible, please follow the steps below.
Submit Notice to Vacate
Move-out communication must be in writing through Buildium. Sign in, click dropdown arrow in upper right > my account > refund settings & move out > prepare notice of intent to move out, and make sure to include your mailing address for your security deposit refund!
Canceling Avista
To cancel your electricity service, please contact Avista at 1.800.227.9187, provide your account number, and let them know your planned move-out date so service can be terminated on that day. To avoid charges, your Avista cancellation date should not be before your official move-out date.
Security Deposit Policy
Security Deposits will be returned within 30 days in accordance with RCW 59.18.280, including accounting of any funds withheld due to damage or excessive wear and tear. Please make sure to provide your mailing address for your security deposit refund when you submit your notice to vacate through Buildium.
Move-Out FAQs
Can I Leave Unwanted Belongings In Unit?
No - please do not leave any unwanted personal belongings, furniture, etc., in your unit during move-out. Any expenses incurred to dispose of items will be deducted from your security deposit.
How Do I Schedule My Move-Out Inspection?
Please email info@premiumspokane.com with three dates/times that work for you, and Diego will be in touch. You can hand your keys to him at that time.
Should I Clean My Unit on Move-Out?
We appreciate any efforts you can make to leave your unit in the same shape and cleanliness as it was when you moved in.
How Can My Future Landlord Contact You For Landlord Verification?
We are happy to provide a reference and/or rental ledger to your future landlord. Please have them reach out to verify@premiumspokane.com.
Where Can I Put Large, Bulky Items?
You are responsible for disposing of large and bulky items, which cannot be left in the building or placed outside at our trash bins or dumpsters, or anywhere else on our property. There are plenty of junk hauling services in Spokane that you can hire to help.
Do I Need to Cancel Internet Service?
Yes - make sure to reach out to your Internet provider to cancel service before moving out.
